This year marks Cyberjaya’s 20th anniversary. Since its opening in 1997, the city has attracted more than 800 technology companies, a population of 95,000 people, of which more than 40% are knowledge workers, and cumulative investments of RM20 billion. In 2016, the tech companies here generated RM12.5 billion revenue, contributing to more than 26% from the total revenue of MSC Malaysia companies. Cyberjaya also houses 60% of Malaysia’s data centres, thanks to its state-of-the art facilities and infrastructure.

Twenty years on and Cyberview Sdn Bhd (“Cyberview”) as the tech hub enabler and company leading the holistic development of Cyberjaya, remains committed to elevate the city into a global technology hub. The conditions have been set and continue to be strengthened for the realisation of this transformation. Key investments and initiatives are being put in place to ensure Cyberjaya’s sustainable development. With Cyberjaya housing the highest tech concentration in the country, we believe that the city will continue playing an integral part in enabling the digital economy.

As one of the premier cyber cities in the region, more than 700 companies, including over 30 multinational corporations, have chosen Cyberjaya as the preferred location to operate their businesses. With the current 16 established property developers vying to invest more than RM20bil in Cyberjaya by 2016, there will be more than 28,000 residential units with an expected population of 100,000 by then. The opening of Cyberjaya's first neighbourhood mall, D'Pulze Shopping Centre and IOI City Mall Putrajaya will serve as a catalyst to boost Cyberjaya to the next growth tier. Coupled with completion of various residential developments, Cyberjaya will see population expansion soon. Other catalysts would involve the upcoming Cyberjaya City Centre, Xiamen University Malaysia Campus, the Maju Expressway extension through Cyberjaya and the Sungai Buloh-Kajang-Putrajaya MRT 2 extension. If you are seeking investment opportunities, Cyberjaya should be in your checklist. Call 016-7737036 for more information.
