CYBERJAYA: A total of 960 participants of ‘Rumah Selangorku’ programme are set receive the keys to their homes by end of this month.

The Masreca N19eteen apartments by Sterling Group under Emkay Group and Areca Properties, is the first affordable housing project in Cyberjaya.

Completed two months before schedule, Sterling Group executive director Ahmad Khalif Mustapha Kamal said the project will enable those with household income of under RM10,000 to own homes and live in Cyberjaya.

“We want people of all demographic to reside in Cyberjaya not just those who earn RM10,000 a month.”

“The project also demonstrates our commitment to provide affordable houses with sustainable living conditions amid holistic surroundings,” he told reporters at the Symbolic Key Handing Over Ceremony at Cyber 10 here.

Launched in Sept 2014, the project’s gross development value stood at RM347 million, he added.

Home owners paid as low as RM200,000 to own a basic units measuring 850 square feet and RM250,000 for substantially furnished house.

House owners will also receive two free parking bays and free wireless connection for 24 months.

Other amenities such as mosque, a dialysis centre, and multipurpose hall will also be built in the vicinity.

Ahmad Khalif also said that the group is also set to complete another affordable housing project in Cyber 10 by 2019.

Earlier, Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali handed over mock keys to 10 house owners of the Masreca N19eteen.
